1. What are the cost of the tickets?
Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at Kings Bay Flowers. Tickets go on sale Jan 1st at the two locations and also online. Online tickets are available up until the dance start time on February 7th but can still be purchased at Kings Bay Flowers until there scheduled closing at 12:00p.
2. What is the time of the dance?
We offer one dance session on Saturday, February 7th, from 6:00p-9:00p.
3. Who may attend?
Fathers/ Father figures (ie. grandfathers, uncles, stepdads, family friends, etc) and daughters of all ages may attend.
4. Can Mothers attend?
Mothers MAY NOT attend unless she is being escorted by HER father. We also recommend that Fathers/Father figures wait to attend until they can enjoy the dance with their daughter unassisted.
5. What is the attire?
Sunday dress is the suggested attire. Some will dress more casual and others will be very dressed up. As long as you are comfortable and appropriate, it's ok with us.
6. What type of music will be played?
A DJ will be playing a mix of music nonstop 6-9. The music is rated PG and PG-13.
7. Will food be provided?
There will be sweet snacks provided such as brownies, cupcakes, donut holes, pretzels, etc. We will also have coke, sprite, punch, and water available. We suggest dinner arrangements be made before or after you attend the dance.
8. Do I need to get my date flowers?
You don't have to but it adds a special touch to the occasion. A wrist corsage for her and a boutonniere for him is what suggested.
9. Where do proceeds from the dance go?
A portion of our proceeds always go back into the community. Every year there is an organization that's chosen to donate money.
